Northup Construction's work and experience has been featured in several respected construction and design magazines. 

We are very excited to announce that a recent remodeling project of ours is featured in Alaska Home Magazine's spring 2010 issue - which was published in March 2010 - just in time for the home show and spring construction season!!!

Dave Northup has been asked to write several technical articles for The Journal of Light Construction, as well as a few tool reviews and feature articles.  We are also very excited to have our first project highlighted in Alaska Home Magazine, a magazine focused on highlighting quality design and construction of Alaskan homes.  We are very proud to have a project or ours featured in this exclusive magazine and look forward to more in the future.

Our first article in March of 2006 highlighted an interesting project remote project of assembling a log kit cabin.

Our next two articles were technical articles that discusses the proper preparation and installation of solid wood flooring over cement slabs.  The first in this series discusses the proper testing and preparation of cement slabs before installation of any floor covering.  The second article of the series tackles the proper installation of a glued down wood flooring.  We even saw Dave Northup on the cover of the July 2008 Journal of Light Construction!!!!

We have also been asked to write several tool reviews for the Journal of Light Construction.  The first was about a remodelers favorite tool, the Fein Multimaster.   Then a few different versions of that tool were released and we tested them.  Our last and most extensive review was of several small drills and we looked at every aspect of their performance and handling over several months.
